Exodus by Julia Bertagna

This book is a science fiction novel about if the world would drown. The icecaps have molten and now few places on the planet are dry. There is one island (which is known) left called Wing. Wing has one small village on it and it is getting smaller and smaller. Most of the villagers decide to leave and they head towards a floating city. The floating cities are cities built before everything got flooded.

I think the story isn’t bad but it isn’t good either. I think that it’s one of those stories that is interesting at the beginning but then gets boring after a while. I forced myself to read it till the end. At the end they start to go towards Greenland as they discover something about it.

I personally believe that this situation is probably never going to happen. First of all there isn’t enough ice on the planet to drown it. The Tibetan plains are high enough for lots of humans to survive. Also going far inland like Mongolia should save you as well. There are lots of things that aren't fully correct.

I don’t think that i would recommend this book to anyone.
