Infinity Blade: Redemption is a book set in-between two popular tablet games, Infinity Blade II and Infinity Blade III. This story goes how Siris gets freed from the Vault of Tears by Isa and then the story continues on till you reach the beginning of Infinity Blade III. I think that this book is a key factor as it really explains the setting of the game. When i first started playing I thought it was a parallel world to ours that guns were never invented but then when I read the first Infinity Blade book I realized that Infinity Blade is set far into the future. That mankind was able to create an immortal QIP (Quantum Identity Pattern) or a soul.
I think that this book shows the complications your protagonists face better than the game because in game you can’t know what the character is thinking. I think this adds a new factor of depth into the game and makes it even better. I believe every game should have something like this.
