Boy meets girl – Meg Cabot

 Boy meets girl is a very nice book written by Meg Cabot. It is a Love story (Romance). It is set in the present day in New york and is the story of Kate Mackenzie’s life and her falling in love. It is written as emails, text messages and diary entries by the main characters.

The main characters are Kate, her best friend Jen, her ex-boyfriend Dale and a lawyer called Mitchell Hertzog with whom she will fall in love. In the story, she breaks up with her boyfriend, moves into her best friend’s apartment, gets fired from the office, falls in love with the guy who got her fired and then gets her job back.

I enjoyed reading this book because it is interesting, not only the story, also the layout. It never got boring since there was a variety of different ways of telling the story (emails, messages, diary etc.) It was funny and had a happy end. I would recommend this book to girls in the age of 10-16.
