Crossed is the sequel to the book Matched written by Allyson Braithwaite
Condie. Crossed is a similar book to the Hunger Games because it is in a
dystopia even though most don’t know it. While in the Hunger Games you have the
Capitol, in Crossed you have the Society. In the society there are three
different classes. Citizen, Aberration and Anomaly. Citizens are regular people
who haven't broken the Society's rules. Aberrations are people who have broken
the rules and are sent to fight 'The Enemy' who is one of the main enemies in
the book hence its name 'The Enemy'. Anomalies are people who are neither Aberration
nor Citizen. They are like exiles who don’t want to be part of the Society.
This book revolves around two people. Cassia and Ky. Cassia and Ky are both Aberrations
who want to find each other when the Society splits them apart.
I wouldn't recommend this book as it is quite boring. The book backtracks too
much for my liking.
This sounds like a complete rip off of Divergent!!
